These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Immediate Demolition website and services. By accessing our services or accepting a quotation, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services & Project Scope

Immediate Demolition provides professional demolition, asbestos removal, and site preparation services across Brisbane, QLD.

  • Quotations: Pricing is based on visible site conditions at the time of inspection and remains valid for 30 days.
  • Project Variations: Any unforeseen conditions, including hidden structures, additional asbestos, rock, or contaminated soil, may require a variation in price.
  • Material Ownership: Once demolition commences, all materials removed from the site become the property of Immediate Demolition.

2. Client Responsibilities

To ensure a safe and efficient project, the client is responsible for arranging:

  • All necessary permits and approvals (unless otherwise agreed in writing).
  • Disconnection of all services, including power, gas, and capping of the sewer.
  • Temporary site fencing and silt control, if required.
  • Clear and suitable access for heavy machinery and trucks. Restricted access may result in additional charges.

3. Asbestos & Hazardous Materials

  • Assessment: Asbestos removal quotes are based on visible materials and B-Class asbestos only.
  • Variations: If A-Class (friable) asbestos, concealed materials, waffle pad slabs, or polystyrene are discovered during work, it will be treated as a variation and subject to additional costs upon consultation.
  • Soil Testing: Unless explicitly stated, quotes do not include soil testing.

4. Payment Terms

To secure a booking and ensure project continuity, the following payment schedule applies:

  • 40% Deposit: Required to secure the booking and cover initial mobilization costs.
  • 20% Progress Payment: Due during the course of the works.
  • Balance: Remaining fees are due within 7 days of project completion.

5. Liability and Insurance

Immediate Demolition maintains comprehensive public liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage.

  • Limited Liability: Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided, except where prohibited by law.
  • Site Conditions: We are not liable for delays caused by third-party service disconnections or permit approval timelines.

6. Website Use and Intellectual Property

Prohibited Uses

You may not use our website for unlawful purposes, to infringe upon our intellectual property, or to transmit malicious code.

Ownership

The website content, including the Immediate Demolition brand and original features, is owned by us and protected by Australian copyright and trademark laws.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
